- Description
- A sea shanty commonly sung on the ships between England and Australia by wool and wheat traders. Though a popular folk song in Australia, its origins are unknown and was sung with different lyrics in many parts of the world. Verses could be improvised and extra verses added. It was also known as 'Rollin' King' or 'South Australia'. This is scored for wind quintet: Flute, Oboe, Bb Clarinet, French horn and Bassoon
